  • Having a solid management team is important. Try to find ways to prove your entrepreneurial prowess while you're working. Investors love giving money to second and third time entrepreneurs. Your summer consulting work will help your credibility.
  • Online video content is moving toward "online channels" and away from user-generated content. Find an established partner and give them equity in the business. Sites like YouTube have become popular primarily based on content created elsewhere.
  • Write down all of the questions you hear investors asking. Once you have answers to all of their questions, someone will give you money.
  • A narrow focus is good - don't try to conquer the world.
